In this role, you'll work closely with the International Transfer Pricing (TP) Lead for EMEA on all transfer pricing matters, collaborating with the wider EMEA tax team and global tax team to ensure alignment, compliance, and strategic impact.Hybrid Working:At Astellas you are empowered and supported with hybrid working options where you can work where you feel most comfortable and productive.Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Working closely with the International Transfer Pricing (TP) Lead EMEA on all transfer pricing matters, collaborating with the EMEA tax team and global tax team as required.
  • Supporting the transfer pricing operational management and acting as the main point of contact for transfer pricing day-to-day activities.
  • Monitoring transfer pricing tax risks to ensuring compliance, initiating and implementing internal tax controls where necessary, aiming to avoiding transfer pricing tax adjustments by tax authorities.
  • Suggesting and implementing continuous improvements in tax governance.
  • Reviewing and monitoring the intercompany recharges (EMEA affiliates and Intellectual Property holders) and analytics, ensuring alignment with group TP policy.
  • Assisting in applying and implementing advanced pricing agreements (APAs) and mutual agreements (MAPs) with relevant tax authorities.
  • Initiating and suggesting practical implementation methods when rolling out new recharge models and/or making changes to existing models.
  • Managing the end-to-end process of drafting and finalising intercompany agreements for EMEA, liaising with regional tax teams, EMEA International Business & Finance (IB&F) and Indirect Tax teams, affiliates and other stakeholders as necessary.
  • Supporting the tax team and affiliate finance leads in responding to tax authority enquiries, proactively identifying, managing and resolving tax issues relating to areas of responsibility.
Required Experience:
  • Proven industry experience with international transfer pricing in EMEA.
Preferred Experience:
  • Experience in managing transfer pricing in a global business.
  • Exposure to SAP ERP, HFM, Oracle or BPC accounting and finance systems.
Education:
  • Relevant University degree or equivalent.
  • Recognised accountancy or tax qualification.
Additional Information:
  • The is a permanent full-time position.
  • This position is based in the UK.
  • This position follows our hybrid working model. Role requires a blend of home and minimum of 1 day a month in office. Flexibility may be required in line with business need. Candidates must be located within a commutable distance of the office.
