Salary: Competitive – dependent on experienceAbout the Role:
As a Graduate Science Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Science department to support pupils across KS3 and KS4 (ages 11-16). Your role will include:
· Providing one-to-one or small group support in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons
· Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery
· Helping to manage classroom behaviour and engagement
· Supporting pupils with varying levels of ability, including those with SEN
· Gaining first-hand experience of life in a dynamic school settingAbout You:
· A degree in a Science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related field)
· A genuine interest in education and supporting young people
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· A positive, proactive and flexible approach to learning
· Previous experience working with young people (e.g. tutoring, mentoring or volunteering) is desirable but not essentialAbout the School:
