Vehicle Technician at Family-Run Car Dealership in Gravesend, Kent
  • Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 Basic (DOE) + £5,000 Bonuses
  • Hours: 8am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota

Join our client's team at a family-run car dealership in Gravesend, Kent, where your expertise will be valued and rewarded!Our client is a well-established, family-run car dealership in Gravesend, Kent, dedicated to providing top-quality vehicles and exceptional customer service. With a strong focus on fostering a supportive team environment, they are now seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join their workshop team and contribute to their ongoing success.Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician with Our Client:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify any safety or maintenance concerns
  • Complete service and repair tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes
  • Maintain accurate records of all work performed and parts used
  • Uphold our commitment to customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service at all times
  • Preferably an MOT Tester, but not essential
Requirements for the Vehicle Technician Role:
  • Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
  • Qualified to Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds in light vehicle mechanics
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills
  • Preferably possess an MOT license, but it's not essential (training can be provided)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Valid UK driver's license
