We're working exclusively with a highly respected precision machining company who supply complex CNC components into the aerospace sector. Due to increased workloads, they're now looking to bring in a skilled Quality Inspector to support their team on a permanent basis.What's in it for you?

You'll work in a busy inspection bay supporting a team of 7 machinists, carrying out inspection on a variety of CNC machined aerospace components. You'll be using a mix of manual and CMM inspection tools, including:
- PolyWorks software
- Hexagon articulated arms
- Gantry CMM
- Traditional inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, verniers, gauges)
- Produce inspection reports
- Escalate non-conformances to the Quality Manager
- Liaise with machinists/programmers to investigate issues
- Support continuous improvement in inspection accuracy and throughput
- Previous experience in a precision quality inspection role
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Skilled in both manual and CMM inspection methods
- Experience with PolyWorks or similar software (e.g. PC-DMIS, COSMOS)
- Able to work independently and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Eligibility to pass security clearance
