Production OperativeWidnes | £12.21 - £13 per hour DOE | Monday - Friday | Temporary to PermanentAcorn by Synergie is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a rapidly growing, friendly company based in central Widnes. Our client specialises in supplying flavourings to the health and nutrition industry and prides itself on its core values of honesty, integrity, teamwork, accountability, and customer focus.This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking team in a long-term, full-time role with genuine scope for permanent contracts and career progression.What You'll Be Doing:
  • Weighing, blending, testing, and dispensing batches in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Following production plans and quality control procedures.
  • Recording accurate batch data, including materials and lot numbers.
  • Handling and storing raw materials safely and correctly.
  • Operating and maintaining mixing equipment.
  • Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.
  • Supporting inventory management and stock checks.
  • Complying with health & safety, PPE, and food hygiene standards (including HACCP where applicable).
  • Reporting any quality or safety concerns promptly.
What We're Looking For:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment preferred.
  • Experience on BRC-accredited sites and knowledge of HACCP is a strong advantage.
  • Excellent manual handling skills and health & safety awareness.
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamworking skills.
  • Flexibility with working hours as needed by production demands.
Shift & Pay Info:
  • Monday - Friday, full-time hours.
  • Flexibility is key - hours may vary to meet production needs.
  • Pay: £12.21 - £13 per hour depending on experience and shift pattern.
