We are looking for a physiotherapist who is person centred, enthusiastic and is committed to the provision of high quality care and treatment to join our Community Learning Disability Service.We are currently transforming our service to improve the care standards to clients who access our service within Sheffield.   • Knowledge and understanding of complex health needs and physiotherapy interventions to manage these
  • Effective interpersonal and teamworking skills
Training and QualificationsEssential
  • Diploma/degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Completed a recognised clinical educator course
ExperienceEssential
  • Experience of working as a Band 5 in these physiotherapy areas: musculoskeletal, neurology, elderly, respiratory and physical rehabilitation
Desirable
  • Experience of working with people with learning disabilities
OtherEssential
  • Ability to communicate with a range of people using effective communication and to identify and constructively manage barriers to effective communication
  • Knowledge of risk assessment
