Salary: £83 - £100 per dayGSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to work at a Client Secondary School located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, starting as soon as possible.About the School:

- Throughout the academic year, the school hosts a number of signature events as part of its careers program.
- They pride ourselves on delivering tailored education that meets the unique needs of each student, fostering their academic, social, and emotional development.
- Deliver personalised 1:1 and small group support to students with special educational needs.
- Monitor and record progress, feeding back to teaching staff.
- Assist with lesson delivery, adapting tasks to make learning accessible and engaging.
- Implement strategies to support the student's emotional, social, and academic development.
- Assist with emotional regulation strategies and de-escalate challenging behaviour.
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
- A genuine passion for supporting children and young people with SEN.
- Experience working with students with SEN, particularly those with ASC, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or SLD.
- Hold an enhanced Child Workforce DBS, registered on the update service, or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) are desirable but not essential.
