London | £110,000 - £120,000 + 20% Completion Bonus + Benefits, Hybrid Working AvailableI am working on behalf of a leading international insurance organisation to recruit a Senior HR Business Partner for a 12-13 month fixed-term contract, covering maternity leave on a retained basis.This is a senior-level role with responsibility for both strategic HR leadership and hands-on delivery, managing a team of three direct reports and partnering closely with senior leadership. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role during the busy performance review and compensation planning cycle in early 2026, ensuring continuity and stability across the business.Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with senior leadership as a trusted advisor across all areas of HR.
- Lead annual compensation, performance management, and talent processes.
- Present HR updates and recommendations at Board level.
- Oversee employee engagement, succession planning, and culture initiatives.
- Provide guidance on employee relations, policies, and best practice.
- Manage and develop a team of three HR professionals.
- Strong HR leadership experience at senior level, with exposure to change management.
- Experience within the insurance sector (essential).
- Resilient, collaborative, and approachable - a strong team player.
- Comfortable working strategically while also able to roll up sleeves and get into the detail.
- Proven experience managing staff.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with credibility at Board level.
- £110,000 - £120,000 base salary (flexible for the right candidate)
