The ROADS service provides support to people and their loved ones affected by drugs and or alcohol to consider, prepare for and access Residential Rehabilitation.The team are co-located within We Are With You office and is made up of;Team Leader- employed by, We Are With YouPeer Recovery Worker - employed by, Recovery Ayr, and aFamily worker - employed by BarnardosWe are looking to recruit an experienced family worker who will work with both adult family members and children whose loved one is accessing/planning to access residential rehabilitation.The successful candidate will be part of the innovative development and delivery of this exciting initiative and therefore is required to demonstrate a level of experience, skills, and knowledge as highlighted below to carry out key aspects of the role.JOB AIMS
  • To work as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • To provide holistic support to, family members and loved ones affected by a loved ones substance use.
  • To be flexible in your approach as a small team you may be required to support the roles of colleagues.
  • To work collaboratively with families to promote recovery and develop and nurture strengths.
  • To work collaboratively with a wide range of statutory and third sector partners across the ADP, as well as with residential rehabilitation providers internal and external stakeholders, to achieve effective, safe and innovative service provision.
