
Payroll Manager

- End to end payroll processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Ensuring compliance with all statutory regulations and internal policies
- Managing payroll queries and providing advice on pay, tax, NI, pensions etc
- Supporting the finance team with payroll reporting and reconciliations
- Working with external partners such as pension providers, HMRC etc
- Implementing process improvements and supporting future system upgrades
- Proven experience running payrolls, ideally in house although bureau background will be considered
- Experience with weekly payrolls and working with time and attendance systems
- Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and statutory requirements
- Solid payroll systems knowledge
- A proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills
