As a Subject Specialist, this role is ideal for educators with subject expertise who want to support pupils’ learning, deliver engaging lessons, and help students achieve their full potential.Responsibilities as a Subject Specialist:
- Deliver high-quality lessons in your specialist subject across a variety of year groups.
- Support pupils’ learning through 1:1 or small group work where necessary.
- Collaborate with teaching staff to plan and develop engaging resources.
- Encourage positive behaviour and a love of learning within your subject.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in your specialist subject area.
- Previous classroom or teaching experience desirable.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A valid, enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
- A CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, with any gaps explained.
