This is a full-time position offering a unique opportunity to work with children and young people with a range of complex needs, delivering high-quality, family-centred care and promoting independence and inclusion.About the RoleYou will work collaboratively with families, schools, health professionals and social care colleagues to assess, plan, and deliver occupational therapy interventions that support the development and well-being of children and young people. Your caseload will include children with a variety of medical conditions or disabilities and your input will contribute to improving participation in everyday activities at home, in school and in the community.As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you will:Provide specialist assessments and interventions for children with physical, behavioural, and developmental challenges.Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings.You will make recommendations for and provide equipment and adaptations to enhance independence and safety.
