With modern facilities, high student progress scores, and a culture of high expectations, it offers an exceptional environment for graduates to grow professionally and make a meaningful impact.About the Role – Graduate Teaching AssistantAs a Russell Group Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support student achievement across core subjects working closely with experienced teachers to deliver targeted academic support and drive pupil progress.Key responsibilities include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support across Key Stages 3 and 4 in core subjects
- Assisting with lesson planning, resource creation, and classroom delivery
- Supporting students in their preparation for GCSE exams
- Collaborating with SEN and EAL departments to personalise support for individual learners
- Encouraging student engagement, participation, and academic resilience
- Getting involved in enrichment activities, academic clubs, or revision sessions
- Educated to degree level (minimum 2:1) from a Russell Group university
- Academically strong, highly organised, and passionate about education
- Confident communicators with a proactive and professional attitude
- Comfortable working with secondary school-aged students
- Interested in a future career in teaching or educational leadership
- Previous experience in tutoring, mentoring, or youth work is advantageous but not essential
- Earn up to £600 per week in a full-time, term-time only position
