- Develop and Maintain Relationships: Build and manage strategic relationships with regional distributors to drive mindshare and accelerate LAND's product sales sustainably.
- Strategic Planning: Devise and execute broad commercial plans to achieve growth targets.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with internal teams to develop and implement successful sales programs that drive product sales through our network.
- Direct Sales Management: Take charge of all sales opportunities within regions where a sales partner may not exist.
- Support and Train Partners: Assist in the launch of new products and support training to partners on our product portfolio.
- Engage with Customers: Participate in customer visits and trade/product tradeshows to drive new business conversion.
- Manage Leads: Ensure prompt and accurate follow-up on all incoming enquiries, leads, and RFQs.
- Forecast and Analyse Sales: Drive sales forecast accuracy and funnel growth; report Point of Sale (POS) data from distributors monthly and analyse data to continually improve our go-to-market strategy.
- Solution Selling: Use solution selling methodologies to highlight the value of AMETEK LAND products to distributors and customers.
- Financial Management: Develop and implement plans to manage pricing, margins, and costs to maximise sales and profitability, and facilitate the collection of unpaid or disputed invoices in conjunction with the accounts department.
- Reporting: Provide accurate, on-time reporting to senior management, including forecasts by country, region, customer, and key project.
- Demonstrates strong skills in managing and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
- Quickly analyses complex issues, develops actionable plans, and successfully implements them.
- Exhibits maturity and ability to influence, with excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
- Is methodical and data-driven, able to manipulate and analyse information to reach thoughtful business conclusions.
- Is a self-starter with a strong sense of urgency and ownership.
- Has proven teamwork skills and can work in a complex and changing environment.
- Demonstrated success in selling technical industrial products.
- Experience leading international teams or covering multiple countries in a direct field sales role.
- At least 5 years of experience in industrial (B2B) sales and/or marketing, including managing distributor networks or internal sales teams.
- A history of consistently achieving sales and market share growth targets.
- Experience managing sales funnels using CRM tools such as SalesForce.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills are a plus.
- A degree in an Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline, or equivalent experience.
