This is a term-time only role, perfect for individuals who are passionate about supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).You’ll be working in specialist SEN schools that support children with a variety of additional needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, ADHD, learning disabilities, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SENAssist with classroom learning activities and adapt resources as neededSupport pupils with personal care (where applicable)Help manage classroom behaviour using positive reinforcement strategiesEncourage students' confidence, independence, and communicationWork closely with teachers and other support staff to deliver individual learning plansWhat We’re Looking ForPrevious experience working with children or young people (education or care setting preferred)A calm, patient and nurturing approachA genuine interest in working with children with additional needsStrong communication and teamwork skillsSEN training or qualifications are a bonus, but not requiredWhat We OfferCompetitive pay – £13.75 per hourTerm-time only – enjoy all school holidays offSupportive school teams and inclusive working environmentsFull and part-time opportunities availableOngoing training and professional developmentAll applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
