💰 Pay: Competitive, dependent on experienceProspero Teaching is seeking a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Special Educational Needs in a range of inclusive and supportive primary and secondary schools across Exeter.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in children’s lives and wants to work in a rewarding educational environment.Role Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
- Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning activities.
- Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
- Support pupils with personal care needs, where required.
- Experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based or other settings).
- A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply).
