- Sell high-value sponsorship packages to companies worldwide, representing a respected international events brand.
- Conduct in-depth industry research to identify and target new sponsorship prospects.
- Lead consultative, solution-driven sales conversations via phone, video calls, and face-to-face meetings.
- Craft clear, professional email communications to engage and convert potential clients.
- Drive new business development by identifying and securing fresh opportunities to grow the sales pipeline.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Deepen partnerships with key clients by developing tailored marketing strategies focused on increasing annual spend and delivering measurable ROI.
- Stay ahead of market trends through continuous research and both internal and external training.
- Deliver bespoke sponsorship solutions that meet each client’s unique needs and objectives.
- Attend your events and key industry events, building your network and staying connected to the market.
- Ideally educated to degree level.
- 6–12 months of direct B2B sales experience is preferred - especially within event sales, media, IT, recruitment, or a similar consultative environment.
- A genuine desire to build a long-term career in B2B sales is essential.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills - you’ll be regularly speaking with clients and crafting professional business emails.
- A proven track record of meeting revenue targets and working effectively to deadlines.
- Highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- A consultative, solutions-led approach to sales, focused on understanding client needs and delivering value.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-performing, and collaborative team environment, while taking full ownership of your responsibilities.
