No weekend work.Morson Talent are recruiting on behalf of Severn Trent for a Facilities Coordinator to join their team at the Edgbaston Depot in Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with facilities management, front of house, or office coordination experience to step into a varied and rewarding role, with the potential to move into a permanent position.The Role
As Facilities Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact on site, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. You'll be responsible for providing a professional front of house service while also supporting the wider facilities management team with coordination tasks.Key Responsibilities
- Acting as the main front desk contact, welcoming staff, visitors, and contractors to the site
- Conducting site tours for new starters and visitors
- Raising and tracking maintenance requests through the facilities management system
- Coordinating site activities to ensure efficient running of operations
- Handling reactive issues on site, ensuring these are escalated and resolved quickly
- Supporting health & safety and compliance processes where required
- Previous experience in facilities coordination, facilities administration, office coordination, or front of house roles
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, confident engaging with staff, visitors, and contractors
- Ability to handle reactive facilities issues in a calm and professional manner
- Highly organised with good IT skills, including experience of using facilities or maintenance systems
- Flexible and proactive approach to supporting a busy site environment
- 6-month temporary contract with the opportunity for a permanent role
- Working hours: Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 3:30pm; Friday, 7:30am - 3:00pm
