Vitalis are recruiting for experienced Social Workers to work in an Assessment team in Halifax.
All new cases coming into Children's Social Care will be allocated to an appropriately qualified social worker who undertakes single assessments, child protection enquiries, pre-birth risk assessments and cases escalating to care proceedings. All assessments must be completed within prescribed timescales and to a high standard.
Experience of CP CIN, private law and initiating care proceedings is required.The Team consists of 4 smaller teams, Pod's. Each Pod undertakes a week's duty on a four-week rota and the Practice Manager is responsible for managing all work coming into the service.
