Employment Type: Permanent – Full-timeThe RoleWe are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee the commercial and financial management of civil engineering and groundworks projects. The role involves ensuring accurate cost control, contract compliance, and effective reporting to support project delivery and profitability.Key ResponsibilitiesManage contracts (e.g., NEC) and administer variations, claims, and final accounts.Prepare valuations, cash flow forecasts, and cost reports.Lead monthly commercial reviews and provide accurate financial reporting.Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery.Identify risks and propose commercial solutions to protect project margins.RequirementsDegree/HNC in Quantity Surveying or equivalent experience.Proven background in civil engineering, groundworks, or construction projects.Strong knowledge of contract administration and cost management.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.BenefitsCompetitive salary of £60k-£65kCar allowance and pension schemeTraining and career development opportunities
