We are seeking a dynamic and committed SENCO to join our nurturing and innovative SEMH school located just outside Lewes .This is a multi-site role offering variety, challenge, and the opportunity to work closely with small groups of pupils (around 6 per class) in a highly supportive environment.🧩 About the RoleAs our SENCO, you will:
  • Lead and coordinate SEND provision across multiple sites.
  • Work closely with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure every pupil receives tailored support.
  • Deliver high-quality teaching in the classroom as part of your role.
  • Monitor and evaluate EHCPs, interventions, and progress.
  • Champion inclusive practices and positive behaviour strategies.
🎓 What We’re Looking For
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • National SENCO Qualification
  • Experience working with SEMH pupils or in specialist settings.
  • A driver’s licence and access to a vehicle (essential due to location and multi-site nature).
  • A warm, resilient, and proactive approach to supporting vulnerable learners.
