Adecco's specialist Property Services Division - North is delighted to be partnering with an amazing NE Housing provider in recruiting for a Building Surveyor to work on an initial fixed term basis for 6 months with a high probability of the role becoming permanent.PurposeThe role covers a variety of surveying tasks, and no two days are the same you'll be working as part of the Major Structural Defects (MSD) team covering both structural and fire damage works, as well as supporting on damp and mould.Duties
  • Work as part of a team to deliver a customer focused and right first-time surveying service
  • Lead on insurance work in relation to fire and structurally damaged properties
  • Manage sub-contractors from inception to completion on a variety of work
  • Survey and specify works relating to structural defects which fall under insurance thresholds
Candidate Requirements
  • Building Surveying degree or able to demonstrate significant experience
  • Up to date knowledge of CDM regulations, and experience of putting that knowledge into practice
  • Excellent customer service skills and able to work as part of a team
  • Experience of undertaking a range of building surveys and able to produce good quality written technical reports and detailed drawings
