Contract: Permanent, Full-TimeWith the continued growth of the South West Region, we're looking for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding team in Cornwall.About the RoleYou’ll support the delivery of residential projects, ensuring they're completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.Reporting to a Commercial Manager, you'll handle all commercial aspects-from procurement and contract administration to valuations, reporting, and mentoring junior staff.Key Responsibilities
- Manage supply chain contracts and budgets
- Prepare and negotiate variations and final accounts
- Conduct site visits to measure and value completed works
- Produce procurement schedules and cost reports
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and site teams
- Support and mentor junior team members
- Degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
- Experience in residential construction
- Excellent communication, analytical, and IT skills
- Highly organised and detail-oriented
- Full UK driving licence
- Based within Cornwall
- £65,000 - £70,000 per annum (depending on experience)
