Based in the heart of London (Holborn), we're a dynamic, fast-growing startup reshaping the online beauty experience.Your RoleAs a Junior Product Designer at Noli, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, crafting the next generation of beauty tech experiences. You'll focus on conceptualising and designing new features from the ground up, with a particular emphasis on AI-powered personalisation and creative user interactions.Within this role, you will:
  • Generate creative concepts: Transform abstract ideas into tangible design concepts for new AI-powered features through sketching, wireframing, and rapid prototyping
  • Design for AI: Create intuitive interfaces for a truly personalised experience, recommendation stytmes and smart beauty analysis that feels magical rather than robotic
  • Lead rapid prototyping: Test and validate ideas quickly using innovative methods to prove key design hypotheses before committing to build
  • Support our design system: Contribute to our design kit and component library, keeping up-to-date with industry best practices
  • Collaborate with tech teams: Work closely with our tech teams (including developers and AI engieergs) to understand what the art of the possible is and translate them into delightful user experiences
  • Champion innovation: Regularly bring fresh ideas for new features and experiences to the leadership table, staying ahead of cutting-edge design trends
  • Create magical solutions that our users will love: Take end-to-end ownership of features and/or user flows, from discovery to delivery. In strong collaboration with product, UXR lead, data and engineers
  • Support user research activities to gather insight into customer needs, preferences and create solutions that users will love.
  • Work within an agile environment:
  • Rapid prototyping: Guide team with best practice in agile product development to test and validate ideas quickly (fail-fast mindset).
  • Supporting the day to day execution of the team, focused on creating amazing designs that can be built by our engineers (and our users love)
What we're looking for
  • Creative expertise: 2-4 years' product design experience with strong portfolio demonstrating creative problem-solving and feature conceptualisation
  • AI curiosity: Interest in AI, machine learning, and emerging technologies with understanding of how AI can enhance user experiences Bonus: Experience with conversational design, voice interfaces, or AI-powered applications
  • Technical proficiency: Advanced skills in Figma, Jira, and prototyping tools, with understanding of front-end development principles
  • Rapid execution: Ability to work quickly while maintaining quality, comfortable with agile development and 2-week sprint cycles
  • Design systems experience: Experience with design systems at scale, particularly for commerce applications
  • Collaborative mindset: Extensive experience working in cross-functional teams, knowing when to challenge, build consensus and drive decisions
  • Location flexibility: Commits to 3 office days a week in London office
  • Education: Degree in Product Design or related field (or equivalent experience)
