
Youth Sports Mentor

- Build strong, trusting relationships with students, many of whom may struggle with authority or traditional education
- Work as part of a trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary team to support pupils’ well-being and personal growth
- Use sport to promote resilience, teamwork, emotional regulation, and self-esteem
- Help foster a safe, fun, and respectful environment where every student feels seen and valued
- Has experience working with young people, ideally those with SEMH needs or challenging behaviour
- Understands the impact of trauma on learning and behaviour
- Is calm, consistent, and able to set clear boundaries
- Can inspire students to engage in physical activity as a tool for healing and growth
- Holds a recognised coaching qualification (or equivalent experience)
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
