On behalf of Oxfordshire primary schools, we are looking for a range of new candidates who are seeking a new classroom to share their teaching assistant expertise and provide excellent assistance for their pupils. The nature of this role requires that the candidates are passionate about supporting pupils who may need extra help in their learning, and are dedicated to making sure all students have equal opportunities and receive the best assistance in their day-to-day studies.We understand that not all candidates may be able to start their role as a part time primary teaching assistant at the very beginning of the academic year, therefore there is a rolling start date and flexibility to begin the role after the new academic year has commenced.This role is open to both experienced TA's and primary teaching assistant candidates who have a strong background for the role but are seeking their first steps into the classroom. This role as a primary teaching assistant is perfect for candidates who are seeking a position of responsibility in supporting primary school aged children but want to work on a part-time basis.You will:
  • Provide excellent support for pupils who may need additional support in their learning
  • Work collaboratively with other Teaching Assistant staff to ensure that the curriculum is followed
  • Work on a part time basis with other teaching assistants
