  • Provide quality leadership and report directly to the Managing Director
  • Improve the company's quality function and systems
  • Conduct quality assessments on suppliers, raw materials, work in progress, and finished products
  • Review client and Royston Lead designs and specifications to understand required quality standards
  • Identify defects, conduct FMEA, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
  • Maintain and report daily, weekly, and monthly KPI systems
  • Train and coordinate activities of the quality control team
  • Prepare comprehensive quality control reports
  • Collaborate with production to ensure products meet all standards and specifications
  • Supervise all aspects of production to maintain quality
  • Ensure employees resolve quality issues while maintaining production where appropriate
  • Maintain ISO quality systems
  • Support development of employee training programmes
Experience and Skills Required:
  • Ideally an experienced metallurgist or chemist
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Proficient in scientific measurement and recording
  • IT literate - Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Minimum 4 years' manufacturing experience
  • Minimum 4 years' quality experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent critical thinking and attention to detail
