- Preparing timely and accurate monthly financial reports across a group of international entities (UK, US, Sweden, Poland)
- Producing month-end journals, including accruals, prepayments, and revenue recognition entries
- Consolidating financial results across multiple regions and supporting overseas teams to meet group reporting deadlines
- Completing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensuring all intercompany accounts are fully reconciled
- Supporting the Finance Director with weekly/monthly cash flow forecasting and cash management
- Preparing monthly and quarterly royalty reports for third-party developers and partners
- Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, PO creation, and vendor communication
- Managing bank and credit card reconciliations, payment runs, and salary disbursements
- Liaising regularly with finance contacts across the business and overseas subsidiaries
- Assisting with quarterly VAT submissions across multiple entities
- Supporting audit preparation and ad hoc financial projects and process improvements
- Monitoring departmental costs and comparing spend against budget/forecast targets
- Preparing detailed monthly reports for department heads with insights and variance analysis
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, ideally within games or adjacent creative industries
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and hands-on approach to month-end and financial operations
- Advanced Excel skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience working with multiple entities and currencies
- Familiarity with Xero or similar cloud-based accounting platforms preferred
- Understanding of royalty-based revenue models or experience in a business with an advance/royalty structure is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to problem solving
- Adaptable and proactive mindset—comfortable taking initiative and handling evolving priorities
