
Senior Commercial Finance Manager - Maternity Cover FTC

- Lead the annual and quarterly forecast processes in collaboration with our Planning & Reporting team
- Build forecast processes involving business partners to produce accurate forecasts and support the team leaders in resource planning and tracking
- Build financial templates to collect, review and discuss forecast submissions
- Master our financial systems to submit our forecasts and create regular and ad-hoc reporting
- Develop an understanding of KPIs and business drivers to build, improve and maintain detailed revenue models for forecasting and weekly pacing processes
- Produce relevant and insightful annual operating plans, quarterly reforecasts and monthly reporting packs for executive review
- Partner with our Finance Operations team to ensure that our monthly, quarterly P&L is accurate
- Own ABM’s Management P&L and produce reporting packs focused on variances to forecast and annual plans with a focus on actionable insights
- Play a key role in the delivery of the consolidated three-year Long Range Plan
- Partner with business counterparts to plan, forecast and ensure delivery against budgets. Influence long-term cost savings and efficiencies
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies
- Support and thought partnering on ad-hoc projects that arise in this fast paced, ever-changing industry
- Support successful integration of ABM in the greater Microsoft Advertising/Xbox landscape; tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Enabling cross-selling in an easy way for our clients and advising on the legal, privacy, financial challenges
- Ensuring revenue is appropriately recognize for King vs other studios within MS Gaming
- Creating cost allocation models to appropriate reflect what is serving King vs other studios within MS Gaming
- 7+ years of experience in FP&A, commercial finance, accounting or related area
- Experience in advertising preferred
- Extensive business and financial modeling experience
- Demonstrate a high degree of self-management and initiative, as direct supervision will be minimal with leadership based in San Francisco.
- Confidence in voicing your opinions in an informed and critical manner to challenge the status quo
- Strong business partnering and collaboration skills
- Strong user of Excel, PowerPoint, ThinkCell, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with financial systems (Hyperion Planning) required
- Experience with TM1 Financial Systems desired
- Strong finance, business acumen and general analytical skills
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Able to present complex issues in clear, simple language. Experience in presenting commercial and financial metrics to non-finance teams and key stakeholders
