We are seeking a full-time Team Leader for our News Cafe` at BaxterStorey, who will be accountable for the following critical responsibilities:● Implementing and rigorously enforcing BaxterStorey's strategic vision encompassing People, Product, Customers, Environment, and Profitability● Ensuring the consistent delivery of superior customer service through a professional, efficient, and meticulous approach● Providing authoritative and decisive leadership to the team, including task allocation, performance management, and continuous evaluation● Supporting the Manager in critical daily operational activities and assuming full managerial responsibilities in their absence● Coordinating effectively with Front of House (FOH) team to guarantee product excellence, optimal inventory management, and stringent stock control● Rigorously maintaining and enforcing the highest standards of food safety, occupational health and safety, and professional presentation● Overseeing mission-critical communications and ensuring strict adherence to BaxterStorey policies and proceduresQualificationsSkills & RequirementsExperience and passion in hospitality, retail, or food serviceAmazing teamwork skills and an ability to drive excellent communicationFlexibility to work Monday to Sunday between 6:00 and 22:00 - rota-based scheduleStrong customer service focus with a positive attitude and professional presentationExperience in Front-of-house (FOH) operations, including food service and stock controlA positive can-do attitude and a desire to improve and win every dayExcellent organisational and problem-solving skills, especially during peak timesAbility to work collaboratively with both front and back-of-house teamsAdditional InformationFor almost 20 years, for every client, in every location (whether that's an office, stadium, cathedral or university), we have created beautiful spaces, exciting menus and friendly teams, so that each and every customer can have the hospitality experience they deserve.We need the brightest and the best to join us to make this all possible.
