As Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for the effective commercial management of multiple projects, including:
- Preparing cost estimates, budgets, and detailed valuations
- Managing the procurement process, including subcontractor packages and supplier contracts
- Administering interim applications, variations, and final accounts
- Working closely with project teams to monitor budgets, progress, and costs
- Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities
- Supporting with tender submissions and contract negotiations
- Ensuring projects remain commercially viable and profitable
- Providing cost advice and reports to internal and external stakeholders
- 5+ years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry
- Experience within Fire Protection, Mandamp;E, Drylining, or a related specialist trade preferred
- Strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contracts
- Excellent cost control, reporting, and negotiation skills
- A solid understanding of subcontractor management and procurement processes
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with varying complexity
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal
- Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management
