Quantity Surveyor RequiredContract Length: 6 months+Location: Black CountryRate of Pay: NegotiableVenn Group are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to work for a Local Authority in the Black CountryThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
  • Lead a team of surveyors managing a variety of responsive repairs, planned maintenance and building compliance related works/contracts.
  • Deliver commercial and project management services from inception to completion.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high standards.
  • Oversee cost control, valuations, and contractor performance.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory maintenance, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet service objectives.
The successful candidate will have:
  • Proven experience in project/commercial management within a construction or property environment.
  • Strong knowledge of standard forms of building contracts and relevant legislation.
  • A Level 5 qualification (or equivalent experience) in Surveying, Construction, or Commercial Management.
