Our client, a prominent figure in the Defence & Security sector, is on the lookout for a PCB-A Development Manager to join their team on a contract basis.   • Working within the PCB-A Governance Team to define the sourcing strategy for prototype hardware, subsequent production build, and future capabilities.
  • Project management of PCB-A activities, ensuring timely delivery and supporting follow-on integration activities.
  • Engage with customers, suppliers, design, procurement, and manufacturing teams to capture all requirements.
  • Maintain and build relationships with external suppliers, developing future strategies to support business needs.
  • Ensure rapid delivery of hardware for PCB-A requirements during the development phase, collaborating with Manufacturing, EE, Equipment, and Procurement teams.
  • Coordinate the introduction of new products to the series production site.
  • Create robust estimates to support activities.
  • Provide accurate reporting of activities for internal and customer needs.
Job Requirements:
  • Experienced and ambitious Manager/Lead with a proven track record in defining strategies.
  • Experience in delivering complex products and providing manufacturing support in a high-profile environment.
  • Proactive and tenacious individual capable of prioritising and understanding strategic business needs while managing day-to-day tactical decisions.
  • Natural communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and drive multi-functional teams under tight deadlines.
  • Experience within an engineering or production environment preferred.
  • PCB-A technical background is desirable, but excellent management skills for cross-departmental collaboration are required.
  • Demonstrates company values to promote new capabilities and influence the company's delivery reputation positively.
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with key suppliers.
