Description:Lochend Surgery is a small, busy GP practice based in Glasgow's East end. We are looking for a part time receptionist to join our friendly team. The postwill be 22 hours per week 2 - 6pm Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri and 12 - 6pm on Tue. The suitable applicant should be flexible to cover annual leave if required, alongwith any short notice or long term absence.Must have basic I.T. skills. We use Emis and Docman and experience would be preferred, but we are happy to give full training in-house. Should have good customer relation and telephone skills in this front facing role. An ability to both work under pressure in a busy environment, while also being able to work alone is needed.We are looking for a candidate who is a team player with a willingness to learn.Patient confidentiality is of the utmost importance and must be upheld at all times.The role involves dealing with patients by telephone and face to face, signposting patients to appropriate services, booking appointments, processing prescriptions and all other admin services as required.
