Contract: Full-Time, PermanentOur client, a well-established and reputable Car Service Centre in Leatherhead, Surrey, is seeking a skilled and motivated Vehicle Technician / Fast Fit Technician to join their dynamic team. - Vehicle Servicing: Perform routine checks and maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelines to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Diagnostics & Repairs: Diagnose faults using diagnostic tools and repair or replace defective parts and components.
- Wheel Alignment: Operate and maintain proficiency with Hunter wheel alignment equipment, ensuring accurate and efficient service.
- Customer Communication: Liaise with Service Receptionists to provide clear, concise updates on required repairs and maintenance.
- Record Keeping: Accurately maintain detailed service and repair records for compliance and customer satisfaction.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all work meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues to maintain a productive and professional workshop environment.
- Qualifications: Ideally qualified to City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Motor Vehicle Mechanics, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Fast Fit Technician in a busy garage or service centre.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with Hunter wheel alignment equipment (training provided if needed). Knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including hybrids and electric vehicles (desirable).
- Location: Must live in or be able to commute to the Leatherhead, Surrey area.

- Driving Licence: Full UK driving licence preferred.
