Due to our current Paramedic relocating we are looking for an experienced paramedic. As an integral member of the practice team, you will work alongside GPs, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to patients.   • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with a wide range of acute, minor illness, and chronic conditions.
  • Undertake same-day face to face or telephone appointments.
  • Provide home visits for housebound or frail patients, as appropriate.
  • Request, interpret, and act on appropriate investigations (e.g., blood tests, ECGs, urinalysis).
  • Prescribe (if qualified) or recommend treatments in line with scope of practice and local protocols.
  • Support the management of long-term conditions (e.g., asthma, COPD, diabetes, hypertension).
  • Work collaboratively with GPs, practice nurses, pharmacists, and other allied health professionals to ensure continuity of care.
  • Recognise and manage urgent and emergency presentations, escalating or referring when appropriate.
  • Promote health education, disease prevention, and self-care strategies.

  • Adhere to clinical governance, safeguarding, and infection control protocols.

  • Full Clean Driving License.
  • Significant post-qualification experience, ideally within urgent care,

  • Ability to work autonomously, with strong clinical decision-making

  • Sound understanding of clinical governance, safeguarding, and risk
