- Manage touring package rental sales from start to finish, handling enquires, preparing quotations and chasing leads
- Assist Account Handlers and team members in a client facing role to create detailed orders to ensure effective delivery.
- Actively pursue touring and rental projects, acquiring contracts through client liaison, remaining as first point of contact as required.
- Confirm orders, instructing equipment preparation staff of the process.
- Follow up and develop leads, including enquiries fielded via sales administrators and ensure they are dealt with in a timely and positive manner
- Engage in marketing activities to positively promote the global brand.
- Develop effective solutions to ensure customer satisfaction, initiate and manage customer relationships and identify / resolve any problems
- Liaise with the Operations and Warehouse managers to fulfil requests
- Ensure that customer service standards are maintained and continually improved.
- Maintaining good communications with other departments that are involved with or affected by project activity
- Work with the accounts department to ensure that all projects are invoiced in a timely and appropriate manner
- Monitor industry pricing trends, reporting any significant findings when appropriate.
- Any other reasonable ad-hoc requests as required by your manager.
- Effective administration skills, together with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to use database software is essential
- Knowledge of speaker prediction software (ArrayCal, Soundvision, Display 3) and CAD preferred.
- Flexibility and adaptability, capable of multitasking, while remaining calm under pressure
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Ability to anticipate problems and find effective solutions aligned to the Company's policies procedures.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate budgets and profit potential and work towards deadlines
- Knowledge of working to industry standard accepted practices
- Demonstrate an ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in the field of audio / AV
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Right to Work and Remain in the UK
- Flexibility to work unsociable hours which may include evenings and weekends, as required, in addition to your normal hours of work from time to time.
- Full, clean UK driving license.
