Job descriptionKS3/4 ENGLISH TEACHERSEPTEMBER 2025 STARTProspero Teaching is looking for a English teacher for a long term role, starting September 2025. You will be responsible for teaching English, both to KS3 and KS4. This position could become permanent for the right colleague.The school has a strong vision from the Headteacher and wider SLT and there have been positive changes implemented across the school. The English department is a welcoming department with a long-standing Head of Faculty in situ. Resources are plentiful and of a high quality, with lots of shared work schemes available.The position is open to NQT’s/ECT’s and more experienced colleagues. You will be paid to scale from day one of this assignment and we are available to discuss this role with teaching professionals as soon as possible.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILSLocation Oldham, Greater Manchester

Hours 8:30 am 3.30pm (including parents evenings, meetings, and duties in line with a teacher etc)EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS– English Graduate, with a 2:2 or higher
– UK Qualified Teacher Status is essential for this role
– Previous experience working in a UK school
– Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:– Hold Right to Work in the UK
– Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
