Vehicle Progress ChaserAn exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Vehicle Progress Chaser to join our team at our Van Store dealership in Southampton.Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for efficiently coordinating the pre-sale preparation of all new and used vehicles prior to customer collection. Balancing your time between the Sales Team, to ensure their sold cars are prepared within an agreed timescale and in line with the manufacturer brand standard requirements.The Opportunity:In this Vehicle Progress Chaser role you will:
  • Manage the progress from the time a vehicle arrives into stock through its mechanical and cosmetic preparation ensuring that the vehicle is displayed in line with the manufacturer retail standards.
  • Propose and arrange the signing of finance documents.
  • Keep customers regularly updated with the build/delivery of their new car.
  • Work with the sales team to ensure their sold cars prepared within an agreed timescale and to ensure they are fully ready for the customer handover.
  • Liaise with the Service team to schedule any necessary work into the workshop.
  • Assist the on site driver with vehicle movement requests.
  • Be responsible for the display of the showroom vehicles, their presentation and connectivity.

  • Full UK driving license
