- Provide leadership and mentorship to the Operations Team
- Be the direct report for the Operations Manager & Technical Team Leaders (Fire Risk Assessment) (Compartmentation & Fire Doors)
- Develop and implement commercial strategies in line with company goals and objectives
- Identify market opportunities and lead strategic initiatives to secure new business in the fire safety sector
- Direct and oversee bids and tenders from inception to completion
- Lead in the preparation and negotiation of contracts, ensuring compliance and risk management
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics to inform commercial decisions and report to the Technical & Operations Director
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional teams including finance, sales, marketing, and operations
- Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, and strategic reports to support business planning and decision-making
- Ensure projects and sales align with profitability targets and company standards
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of market developments in fire safety consulting
