Now you have an opportunity to join them and help shape the future of the next generation.About the RoleThey are looking for an experienced and passionate Programme Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of their STEM engagement programmes. You will play a key role in scaling their impact through partnerships and funding and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple stakeholders.Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end planning and execution of SmartSTEMs events and programmes
- Manage relationships with education partners, industry sponsors, and delivery teams
- Line-manage delivery staff and support the growth of our work
- Represent SmartSTEMs at events, meetings, Awards
- Working to create new funding opportunities with partners
- Passionate about equity in education and inspiring the next generation into STEM
- A strong programme manager, with experience in event delivery or education outreach
- Confident working with a wide range of stakeholders—from schools and universities to funders and volunteers
- Highly organised, detail-focused, and adaptable
- A team player with leadership experience and a hands-on mindset
- Minimum 1 years' experience in programme/project/event management
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisational and reporting capabilities
- A valid UK driving licence and willingness to travel
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Experience in the STEM, education, or third sector
- Knowledge of Scottish or UK education systems
