- Evidence of attendance at relevant post graduate courses
- Experience in a broad acute rotational post, including A&E and acute medicine
- Experience with complex discharge planning
- Experience of working at band 6 level
- Able to display transdisciplary working competencies across Occupational therapy and physiotherapy
- Able to make clinical decisions based on one-off rapid assessment and work under pressure.
- Able to document information accurately
- Able to demonstrate sound reasoning skills
- Effective Communication Skills
- Ability to participate in weekend, bank-holiday and extended hours rota.
- Evidence of teaching and supervision skills
- Problem solving skills
- Computer literate
- Evidence of student or supporting a therapy support worker
- Involvement in audit, research and understanding of quality issues
- Presentation skills
- Evidence of CDP maintained in a portfolio
- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current occupational therapy or physiotherapy practice in relevant area
- Awareness of Evidence Based practice
- Understanding of legal responsibilities of the profession such as confidentiality, consent and documentation
- Understanding of clinical governance and its implication for services, including experience of quality issues and audit
- Evidence of attendance at relevant postgraduate courses
- Knowledge of current NHS, Emergency Medicine and local issues
- Demonstrates ability to meet the trust values
