You’ll be the technical go-to for all things sound, vision and conferencing, helping ensure every event, meeting and stream runs without a hitch.   • Execute AV, video conferencing and broadcast event support
  • Set up, operate and troubleshoot equipment including mixers, PTZ cameras, DSPs and codecs
  • Pre-event testing and quality assurance for all AV systems
  • Engage with internal clients, offering expert setup advice and troubleshooting support
  • Support live event switching using tools like Blackmagic ATEM
  • Manage room automation via EXTRON/AMX systems
  • Operate across Zoom, MS Teams, and hybrid conferencing environments
  • Assist with infrastructure installs including telecommunication and media tech
Summary:We're seeking a tech-savvy and service-minded AV Technician to deliver end-to-end multimedia support — from pre-event testing to live troubleshooting and post-event performance. You’ll support everything from small boardroom meetings to multi-camera global town halls. This hands-on role covers AV operations, client engagement, live event support, equipment troubleshooting, and system setup across a diverse corporate environment.Responsibilities:AV Setup, Operation & Support
  • Set up, test, operate and break down audio-visual equipment for meetings, conferences, and events (internal and client-facing).
  • Ensure seamless execution of AV services including projection, sound, lighting, display, and video conferencing.
  • Configure and operate digital audio mixers, microphones, speakers, amplifiers, video switchers, and PTZ cameras.
  • Operate broadcast equipment such as Blackmagic ATEM for live streaming and multi-camera switching.
  • Configure and support room automation systems (EXTRON/AMX) for integrated control of AV hardware.
  • Perform daily room checks to ensure all AV systems are online, functional, and up to standard before use.
Testing, Troubleshooting & Maintenance
  • Conduct pre-event testing of all AV systems including connectivity, signal flow, and audio quality assurance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in real time during live events or meetings to minimise downtime.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues with AV signal paths, hardware configuration, and network interfaces.
  • Perform component-level diagnostics and basic repairs on AV hardware when needed.
  • Maintain and update firmware/software on AV systems, codecs, DSPs, and control interfaces.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-tier technical support or third-party vendors as appropriate.
Customer Engagement & Client Support
  • Act as the first point of contact for AV-related support requests.
  • Provide expert guidance on the best use of AV equipment for meetings, training sessions, and corporate events.
  • Liaise with presenters, event organisers and stakeholders to understand technical requirements and support delivery.
  • Provide in-room support before and during key meetings or events.
  • Deliver brief AV user training sessions or walkthroughs for meeting hosts or internal clients.
Live & Hybrid Event Support
  • Support large-scale hybrid events, global town halls, webinars, and live streams.
  • Coordinate multi-platform video conferencing including Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Cisco/Polycom and webinar platforms.
  • Manage audio feeds, camera angles, media playback, and scene transitions during live events.
  • Liaise with internal comms, production teams or vendors for high-profile AV productions.
AV Infrastructure & Installation Support
  • Assist in the installation and upgrade of new AV infrastructure, systems, and conference room setups.
  • Support structured cabling, mounting of displays, integration of AV over IP systems, and rack setups.
  • Work alongside vendors and facilities teams for AV commissioning and project delivery.
Asset, Documentation & Inventory Management
  • Maintain accurate records of AV setups, room configurations, signal diagrams, and user manuals.
  • Keep an inventory of AV hardware, consumables, and spares (e.g. cables, adapters, remotes).
  • Assist in the tracking and logging of service issues, tickets, and maintenance schedules.
  • Document any changes to system setups or configurations for audit and continuity purposes.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
  • Log incidents, feedback and usage patterns to help improve AV service quality.
  • Contribute to the refinement of AV SOPs (standard operating procedures), user guides, and best practices.
  • Provide feedback and suggest AV system improvements or upgrades based on end-user needs and performance.
  • Support periodic reviews of AV infrastructure to ensure scalability, consistency, and compliance with corporate AV standards.
Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure AV operations adhere to company health and safety guidelines (e.g. cable management, equipment handling).
  • Manage power, data and ventilation requirements for all AV systems installed or used.
  • Support compliance with data protection and confidentiality policies, especially in sensitive or executive environments.
Candidate Profile:We will consider candidate form a variety of backgrounds but your skills & attributes are likely to include some or all of the following:
  • Comprehensive professional AV production experience within a corporate environment
  • Experience operating digital audio mixers (Yamaha, Behringer etc.)
  • Dante Level 1 certification
  • Familiarity with DSP platforms (Bi-Amp, Q-Sys, etc.)
  • Hands-on knowledge of EXTRON, AMX, PTZ cameras, Blackmagic ATEM
  • Strong troubleshooting and signal flow skills
  • Experience supporting Zoom, MS Teams, Cisco, Polycom VC & other vendors equipment
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills
  • Background in AV integration or media production is a plus
  • Confident in time-sensitive, high-pressure settings
