We are currently looking for a Machine Operator to join our Manufacturing team on a 12-week temp-to-perm basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a machining or manufacturing environment to join a growing business and work towards a permanent role. You'll be responsible for operating a range of equipment to process and finish, ensuring high quality and efficiency at every stage of production.Working Hours
- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:15 PM
- Friday: 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
- Total: 38.5 hours per week
- Flexibility for additional hours may be required, in line with Health, Safety and Environmental guidelines.
- Operate various press machines
- Use measuring equipment such as verniers and height gauges to ensure accuracy
- Follow job-specific procedures and engineering drawings in line with company policies
- Work cross-functionally with other departments
- Maintain high safety and quality standards throughout the production process
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining environment (preferred)
- Good numeracy, literacy, and basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and concentration
- Ability to problem solve and follow production schedules accurately
- A flexible and proactive attitude, with a team-first mindset
- £13.00 per hour for candidates with relevant experience (grading structure applies).
