Their proactive leadership team and tight-knit workforce (currently around 80 employees) foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and sustainable construction practices.Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their Pre-Construction team with the appointment of an experienced Estimator.ABOUT THE ROLEAs an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the pre-construction process-working closely with the commercial and operations teams to deliver accurate, competitive, and compelling tenders. Your ability to analyse drawings, specifications, and project requirements will directly influence the business’s continued success in securing work.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed cost estimates for a variety of construction projects, including new builds, refurbishments, and fit-outsAnalyse subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and valueWork collaboratively with the Pre-Construction Manager and Directors to develop winning bid strategiesAttend site visits and client meetings as requiredContribute to risk assessments and value engineering processesMaintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and consultantsAssist in the handover to the delivery team post-contract awardThe ideal candidate will have:
Proven experience as an Estimator within the UK construction industry
