- Maintain shift levels by managing annual leave and sickness cover.
- Delegate duties to warehouse operatives and support personnel to meet production targets.
- Communicate production targets and any operational changes clearly to your team.
- Record and maintain shift records and relevant documentation for accurate tracking.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental practises for designated shifts.
- Supervisory Experience: Proven ability to manage and lead teams effectively.
- Communication Skills: Ability to engage with all levels of staff, both internally and externally.
- PC Literacy: Comfortable using computers for documentation and reporting.
- FLT licence: Counterbalance and Reach Truck certified, with Order Picker training.
- Health & Safety Knowledge: Familiarity with workplace safety practises and accident reporting.
- Stock Management: Experience in carrying out stock-taking activities.
- Liaising with the Warehouse Manager and Shift Supervisor regarding targets and operational changes.
- Conducting pre-usage checks on equipment and maintaining relevant logs.
- Moving and locating products to appropriate locations, including stock and vehicles.
- Assisting in ongoing training and process improvements.
- Conducting investigations into accidents and safety breaches.
- Good command of Maths and English is essential.
