  • Designing and delivering engaging English Language and Literature lessons that challenge and inspire.
  • Equipping students with strong communication, analytical, and literacy skills for life beyond the classroom.
  • Bringing lessons to life with creative approaches, including technology and multimedia.
  • Assessing progress and providing constructive, personalised feedback.
  • Building an inclusive, respectful classroom culture where every student can thrive.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and contribute to wider school life.
Who We’re Looking For:
  • A qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in English, Education, or related subject – ECTs and skilled unqualified educators encouraged to apply.
  • Someone with a love for both Literature and Language, and the ability to inspire that passion in others.
  • A strong communicator who builds positive relationships with students and staff alike.
  • Adaptable, culturally aware, and committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners.
  • Confident in managing a classroom while promoting respect and motivation.
  • Knowledgeable about the GCSE and/or A-Level English curriculum.
