- Job Title: HR Project Manager
- Contract: Perm
- Location: Remote
- Pay: up to 35k DOE
- Lead end-to-end projects including system implementations, vendor transitions, compliance upgrades, and process automation
- Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
- Monitor project progress and proactively address risks, issues, and dependencies
- Support on payroll project processes, compliance, and best practices
- Ensure payroll systems and processes comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, and People Solutions Experience to align payroll operations with organizational goals
- Act as the primary point of contact for payroll project stakeholders
- Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to leadership
- Act as the primary liaison between HR, Finance, People Solutions Experience, external vendors, and other stakeholders
- Facilitate regular project meetings, status updates, and executive reporting - such as steerco reporting presentations
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure payroll processes comply with local, national, and international labour laws and tax regulations
- Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and resolving queries
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Troubleshoot and resolve project related issues promptly
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or project management experience.
- Project Management certification (PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent) preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, digital project management tools and Workday desirable
- At least 2-3 years in a project management role is essential with a solid understanding of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Global payroll processes and connection points to HR systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP, Horizon) and familiarity with GDPR and data privacy regulations related to payroll is highly desirable.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
