Acting as a subject matter expert in network infrastructures, wireless and/or telephony services, you will work closely with IT colleagues and systems owners/ expert users across the University to plan, deliver and support a range of network and telephony related projects. Promoting secure network use and awareness across all levels of the University you will also advise on relevant policies and procedures to maintain compliance standards.This role provides an excellent platform to acquire and develop a multitude of skills to further your career.   • Be an experienced and skilled IT professional
  • Have significant experience of network technologies, operating systems, systems administration and scripting languages
  • Ideally, hold a recognised network qualification
  • Demonstrate initiative and have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Be able to work in a small team and independently to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
  • Have a growing curiosity of all things technical, with capability for technical discovery and detailed investigation and assessment of complex networking scenarios.
