- Deliver a pricing model for use in tender, that will give us appropriate charges for the services as well as the level of transparency required in future.
- Model needs to work for each of the services standalone, as well as for the total services.Model needs to easily accommodate removal of some services from the total over time.
- As soon as possible - model needs to be developed and tested by mid November
- Until tender response evaluation complete and contract awarded c. May 2019
- Some ad hoc modelling likely to be required during service transition as new information surfaces (until c. Oct 2019).
- Initially full-time to get the model created in the shortest practical timeframe for tender.
- Likely to reduce to part-time (c.0.5) once the tender has been issued
- Is suitable for each of the core services:
- Application Management
- Hosting & Network Management
- Service Integration and Management
- Works for the services as a whole
- Allows individual services to be removed easily and still have the model function effectively for the remaining whole
- Will provide transparency in the future
- Run appropriate scenarios through the model to ensure it hangs together and gives the outcome required with no unintended consequences
- Develop 'should cost' for the services (in part and in whole) against which bidders can be assessed
- During tender phase address questions raised from bidders in respect of the pricing model
- When responses are received from bidders during the tender:
- Ensure the basis of each bidder's pricing approach is understood, raising clarification questions as necessary
- Validate the information submitted in the model, ensuring each bidder has properly understood our pricing expectations
- Create a 'would cost' model for each bidder
- Analyse and compare each bidder and make recommendations to feed in to selection decisions
- Creation of pricing models for procurement purposes, with particular experience in technology / IT services pricing
- Contact centre pricing as well by preference
- Commercial approach and understanding
- Financial analysis
